One Foot Jump
You have to be able to jump, fly the kite with one hand, and grab the board. Once in the air, grab the board either ath the edge or the rail, depending on your style and flexibility.
Remove one foot from the strap and stretch you leg either over or behind the board. As soon as you start piloting your kite to land, put your foot back into the strap. You must be able to fly the kite without looking at it because you will be concentrating on your foot until you have mastered the movement.
High jumps and long hang time make this jump easier.
