Kite Spot Puerto Velero - Colombia

Description

Nice flat water with sandy beach in a lagoon and 3 meter waves outside...The waves are very radical. Nothing for beginners!
But inside of the lagoon is a nice spot for freestyling, speedsurfing and beginner lessons.
There is a lot of place fot kites! The sufing station has open 24 hours. And if you like you can sleep there or make moon-surfing.
The surfing teacher is a friendly guy. So hurry up to keep on surfing :-)

How to go there

There is a surfing school and places to sleep. Barranquilla is about 30km far away. The next little city is Puerto Colombia (10km far away).
You can find pictures of the spot in google earth. There is a street until the spot...But there are no buses. The best way is to go to Puerto Colombia and with a mototaxi or taxi to Puerto Velero.
